The Leo Ferrell Memorial Rotary Scholarship was created by the Marion, Virginia Morning Rotary Club and the Ferrell family in memory of Leo Ferrell. This $2,500 scholarship seeks to identify and reward a member of a Southwest Virginia high school golf team who exemplifies leadership, academic excellence, sportsmanship, and community service. George Marshall Holmes was a resident of Blacksburg, Virginia. At his request, a scholarship has been established in his name for a deserving student/students at Blacksburg High School. In order to qualify for this scholarship, the student(s) should be highly qualified academically, demonstrate financial need, and must attend Virginia Tech as a full time student in the fall of 2021.

DEADLINE: MAY 3, 2021 The Blacksburg Junior Women’s Club (BJWC) is offering three college scholarships to graduating MCPS high school seniors who have demonstrated strong participation in local community service activities.
Completed applications must be emailed to the club and received by April 12, 2021. DEADLINE: APRIL 12, 2021 Each year the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Montgomery County and Radford (RSVP) awards two $1,000 scholarships to outstanding high school seniors attending Montgomery County and Radford schools who plan to pursue studies in a human services/medical field.

She believed in the value of building relationships, networking, and living Ut Prosim (VT’s motto - That I May Serve) in business and all aspects of her life. To keep her memory alive, John P. Tutle, has established an annual scholarship of $1000 to be given to a student graduating from a Montgomery County, Virginia high school who has been accepted to the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.

Ruritan is dedicated to making your community a better place in which to live and work. The Mt. Tabor Ruritan Club is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships of up to $500 each to attend any accredited post-secondary institution. These scholarships will require at least 100 hours of community volunteer service within the past 24 months. Selection will be made on community volunteer service, scholarship, extra-curricular activity, and perceived need.
