The $5,000 one-year, merit-based academic scholarship acknowledges students who demonstrate superior intellectual promise, academic performance, dedication to their communities, interest and success in physical fitness and health, and unimpeachable integrity. Applicants must have a 3.8 or better GPA. (This award/scholarship is for any VT freshmen, not only for Pamplin Business students.)
BHS may nominate one student for the award. The Elks National Foundation helps students who need financial assistance to fulfill their dreams of attending college. 500 scholarships will be awarded. Ranging from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university.
