To be eligible for the BAC Scholar-Athlete Award students must have participated in interscholastic athletics at BHS, be a senior, have been awarded a varsity letter in a sport prior to their senior year, and have at least a 3.5 GPA. DEADLINE: MAY 8, 2021 The Roanoke Valley Tennis Association (RVTA) will award two $1000 scholarships and two $500 scholarships. The selection criteria is: tennis participation, community service, character, leadership, and academics. Applicants must be high school seniors who will be attending college in the fall. DEADLINE: MAY 7, 2021 "One” Memorial Scholarship Honoring Hunter Nathanael Smith (BHS Class of 2011) is awarded to a senior graduating from Blacksburg High School and continuing his or her education at a two or four-year college or university. DEADLINE: MAY 3, 2021 (SUBMIT TO MS. DWOYER) The mission of the NRVHBA Scholarship Committee is to support the future growth of the Construction Industry by providing aid to deserving students enrolled in construction-related studies at Virginia’s Colleges, Trade Schools and within Working Internships. Each spring we will present a scholarship of $1,000 to a graduating senior who is interested in entering the Building Profession, including but not limited to architecture, drafting, building trades (electrical, plumbing, hvac), carpentry, contracting, and engineering.

DEADLINE: May 15, 2021 The Leo Ferrell Memorial Rotary Scholarship was created by the Marion, Virginia Morning Rotary Club and the Ferrell family in memory of Leo Ferrell. This $2,500 scholarship seeks to identify and reward a member of a Southwest Virginia high school golf team who exemplifies leadership, academic excellence, sportsmanship, and community service. Please note that need is a consideration, but not

DEADLINE: APRIL 24, 2021 George Marshall Holmes was a resident of Blacksburg, Virginia. At his request, a scholarship has been established in his name for a deserving student/students at Blacksburg High School. In order to qualify for this scholarship, the student(s) should be highly qualified academically, demonstrate financial need, and must attend Virginia Tech as a full time student in the fall of 2021.

DEADLINE: MAY 3, 2021 The Blacksburg Junior Women’s Club (BJWC) is offering three college scholarships to graduating MCPS high school seniors who have demonstrated strong participation in local community service activities.
Completed applications must be emailed to the club and received by April 12, 2021. DEADLINE: APRIL 12, 2021 Each year the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Montgomery County and Radford (RSVP) awards two $1,000 scholarships to outstanding high school seniors attending Montgomery County and Radford schools who plan to pursue studies in a human services/medical field.
