This award will recognize outstanding Math / Science seniors, who also exhibit Rotary’s ideal of Service Above Self. This award will be selected from nominations received from Montgomery County seniors. The award includes a $1,000 scholarship for next fall’s college tuition costs.
This award is to encourage good personal character and Math or Science careers among MCPS students. Therefore, your personal character, service to others, your past Math / Science achievements and your further pursuit of a Math or Science education will weigh heavily in the selection process.

The Roanoke Valley Wrestling Association will award the Stan Parker Memorial Scholarship in the amount of at least $1,000. The scholarship will be based on financial need and a connection to wrestling. Qualified candidates will be active in wrestling and student activities or be the son or daughter of a coach, official, or someone actively involved in the wrestling community. This award will be selected from nominations received from Montgomery County’s seniors. The award includes a $1,000.00 scholarship towards tuition costs for students planning to attend a community college or technical school to complete an Associate Degree (or similar degree) in a career and technical field (plans for further education is not a disqualifier).

The State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship doesn’t require a high GPA, but rather focuses on students who are leaders and volunteers in their communities and demonstrate financial need.

These scholarships are open to all students, regardless of your career ambitions! Scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded to seniors who have met the qualifications and have the highest ratings as compared to other applicants. Eligible seniors may attend any of the four Montgomery County High Schools, Radford High School, Pulaski County High School, Craig County High School, Floyd County High School, Giles High School, or Narrows High School.
To apply for one of these scholarships, applicants must complete the entire application process by March 13th, 2017. Applications postmarked after March 13th will not be considered for selection.
