The Scholarship Fund, Grand Lodge Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, of Virginia is providing a scholarship to deserving men and women from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Students are selected on the basis of merit and need. Merit includes academic achievement, class rank, standardized test scores, participation in high school, community, church or synagogue activities, as well as the quality of application essays. The Virginia Department of Education has announced the Granville P. Meade Scholarship which provides financial assistance to students who have achieved academically, but who are financially unable to attend college. Granville P. Meade scholars will be selected based upon financial need and merit. Therefore, applicants will need to demonstrate academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and good character as determined by letters of recommendation and financial need.

Please note, this application will require at least four recommendation letters, so if you plan to apply you should start this application and contact recommenders as soon as possible.

The award includes a $1,000 scholarship for next fall’s college tuition costs. This award is to encourage good personal character and Fine Arts careers among MCPS students. Therefore, proper ethics, character, service to others, your past Fine Arts achievements and your further pursuit of a Fine Arts education will weigh heavily in the selection process. Shelor Toyota is proud to offer $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors who wish to further their education after high school. These scholarships are open to all students, regardless of your career ambitions! Scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded to seniors who have met the qualifications and have the highest ratings as compared to other applicants. Eligible seniors may attend any of the four Montgomery County High Schools, Radford High School, Pulaski County High School, Craig County High School, Floyd County High School, Giles High School, or Narrows High School. The Roanoke Valley Wrestling Association will award the Stan Parker Memorial Scholarship in the amount of at least $1,000. The scholarship will be based on financial need and a connection to wrestling. Qualified candidates will be active in wrestling and student activities or be the son or daughter of a coach, official, or someone actively involved in the wrestling community.

Ruritan is America's leading community service club. Ruritan is dedicated to making your community a better place in which to live and work. The Mt. Tabor Ruritan Club is pleased to announce the availability of three scholarships of up to $500 each to attend any accredited post-secondary institution. These scholarships will require at least 100 hours of community volunteer service within the past twelve months. Selection will be made on community volunteer service, scholarship, extra-curricular activity, and perceived need.
