The USDA has two Scholars programs that offer scholarships for students seeking a bachelor’s degree at an eligible 1890 and 1994 Land-Grant Universities in the field of agriculture, food, natural resource sciences or other related. High school and current college students are eligible to apply for these two programs which provide full tuition, fees, books, room and board, and a summer internship which may convert to full-time employment with USDA after graduation.

Each year The Better Business Bureau Serving Western VA offers scholarships recognizing “Students of Integrity.” These scholarships are designed to identify and promote ethics and integrity among young people. The BBB will award scholarships to graduating high school seniors who personify the best aspects of strong character in their personal choices and actions.
The BBB Video Based Contest requires students to create up to a three-minute video illustrating your commitment to ethical life-long decision-making and how one of the main principles in BBB Standards For Trust (trust, honesty, integrity, and commitment) have impacted your life.. DEADLINE: JANUARY 31, 2022 The Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) Scholarship program addresses the financial needs of college students and provides extensive, hands-on mentoring and support services. The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarships of up to $30,000 over four years to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans. RBSP competitively awards Ron Brown Scholars four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities – especially our disadvantaged youth.
