The Harry Byrd Leadership Award rewards high school students who demonstrate academic accomplishment and who also embody excellence of character, leadership, and good citizenship. Each high school in Virginia may nominate one graduating senior whose application will be reviewed by the Award Selection Committee. Award winners will receive $15,000! BHS Deadline: Application to Ms. Dwoyer by October 9 The NSHSS Foundation provides STEM scholarships for underrepresented groups in order to help reduce financial barriers for those with academic and leadership potential and the desire to pursue STEM careers. We recognize that in order to increase diversity in the technology workforce, we must increase diversity in undergraduates.
The Foundation awards this scholarship to high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who are pursuing a degree in, or closely related to, a STEM disciplines.
