The Roanoke Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a 109-year-old Public Service Sorority, is very pleased to announce its annual scholarship application. The sorority is seeking senior high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited 2-year/4- year college or university and need assistance with the cost of tuition and other related school expenses. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. believes that education is the key to success in life and we want to make a difference in the lives of the students in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. Founded in 1973, the Roanoke Gold Hall of Fame serves to promote the game of golf in and around Roanoke, Virginia. The Hall of Fame, which includes 13 public and private courses, provides annual scholarships to 19 area schools and honors outstanding high school players each season. The Roanoke Valley Golf Hall of Fame has given out $1,000,000 in scholarships to 19 area schools.
Application for RVGHOF Scholarships Deadline for Applications April 1, 2022 This award is to encourage good personal character, the pursuit of Fine Arts education / careers among MCPS students and includes a $1000 college scholarship .
The nominee must be a graduating BHS senior who will attend college next fall and whose primary interests/studies are in the Fine Arts fields. The student's personal character and service to others will weigh heavily in the selection process, and examples or descriptions should be included. Student's achievement and dedication towards Fine Arts education is important and while not a requirement, the pursuit of a Fine Arts degree will enhance the nominations. The Nominee should have superior skills and knowledge in their chosen field, take initiative and show good judgement and maturity in class. They should be dependable, prompt, reliable and have good attendance as well as an strong ability to work well with others. Exhibiting proper ethics, moral character and good citizenship are important as well as being of service to others in the community. Fine Arts Application Application Deadline: April 1, 2022 This award is to encourage good personal character and vocational careers among CTE students, and includes a $1,000 scholarship. The selection criteria will be based on CTE academic achievements and citizenship excellence. Requirements for award 1. The nominee must be a MCPS senior, completing the final year of CTE studies. 2. The nominee must be planning to attend a community college or technical school next fall to complete an Associate Degree (or similar degree) in a career and technical field.
The Nominee should have superior skills and knowledge in their chosen field, take initiative and show good judgement and maturity in class. They should be dependable, prompt, reliable and have good attendance as well as an strong ability to work well with others. Exhibiting proper ethics, moral character and good citizenship are important as well as being of service to others in the community. CTE Application Application Deadline: April 1, 2022 This award is to encourage good personal character, the pursuit of Math or Science

Cl Scholarship Application Application Deadline: April 1, 2022 On behalf of the Craig Botetourt Electric Cooperative, the Education Scholarship Foundation awards $1,000 scholarships. A combination of weighted criteria is used in the selection process: 40% financial need; 40% academic achievement; and 20% personal statement. Funds can be applied towards tuition, student fees, room and board, or textbooks, and are sent directly to educational institutions. Eligibility Requirements
Deadline For Applications: April 1, 2022 The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is announcing the Granville P. Meade Scholarship that provides financial assistance to students who have achieved academically but who are financially unable to attend college. The Granville P. Meade fund awards scholarships to eligible Virginia high school seniors to attend one of Virginia’s public or private colleges or universities.
It is anticipated that the scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,000 per year for four years, provided the student continues to meet the scholarship requirements. This year, applications will be completed, submitted, and reviewed via an online education portal. This portal opens to students February 7, 2022. All students interested in applying must create an account to access the application, request letters of recommendation, and upload academic records. Deadline for Applications March 7, 2022 Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Beta Phi Boulé will be awarding three private $1000.00 college scholarships to qualifying African American male seniors attending a school located in Roanoke, Lynchburg, or the New River Valley area. I have included a link to the online scholarship application, which is due by April 8, 2022, by 11:59 PM.
