The Frank E Page Educational Fund was established to give financial assistance to "deserving students who shall be graduated from the public high schools of Montgomery County, Virginia." Criteria for selection includes financial need and academic success. This scholarship is available for or 4 year institutions and community colleges. Applicants must complete an application, have two letters of reference, and a high school transcript to apply.

DWOYER hard copy or electronic - [email protected]) The USDA has two Scholars programs that offer scholarships for students seeking a bachelor’s degree at an eligible 1890 and 1994 Land-Grant Universities in the field of agriculture, food, natural resource sciences or other related. High school and current college students are eligible to apply for these two programs which provide full tuition, fees, books, room and board, and a summer internship which may convert to full-time employment with USDA after graduation.

George Ducker to a low-income graduating New River Valley senior who will be entering college in the fall.

Please note that you must have a teacher or other school official nominate you for this award, so if you are interested in being nominated or have any questions see Ms. Dwoyer by March 6. DEADLINE: March 6, 2022 The Mary Terry Goodwin Kuyk Volunteer Scholarship is open to current high school seniors who are not children or grandchildren of a member of the Junior League of the Roanoke Valley, have a B average or better, and provide outstanding volunteer service to their communities in the Roanoke or NRV area. Scholarship recipients receive up to $2,000 in scholarship funds.

DEADLINE: MARCH 4, 2022 The Montgomery County Retired Educators Association will award at least one scholarship to a Montgomery County Public School 2022 graduating senior who plans to enter the field of PreK-12 public education. This will be a onetime award in the amount of $1000.00.

The BBB Video Based Contest requires students to create up to a three-minute video illustrating your commitment to ethical life-long decision-making and how one of the main principles in BBB Standards For Trust (trust, honesty, integrity, and commitment) have impacted your life..
